3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 BVery (4251) - Burnsville, Minnesota, USA - MAY 25, 2012
Bottle. Slightly hazy yellow-orange pour with a minimal white head. Aroma is grain and hop. Taste is better than I was anticipating - grassy hops with some citrus and a bit of malt - very drinkable.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 CanIHave4Beers (2495) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - AUG 16, 2011
Pours golden with a medium sized slightly loose head that fizzes out fairly quickly into a smaller tighter head. The aroma is soapy but also floral with some toasty malt notes. The flavor is a fairly good balance between some toasty maltiness and a fairly heavy handed hop bitterness. That’s not to say that the beer is loaded with hop flavor, but it does have more than I guess I had remembered the beer having from a few years back. The hops seem more about bitterness here and light citrus tones compliment this throughout. The beer tastes soapy in the finish and there are some mild caramel flavors that exist nicely without adding much in the way of sweetness to the beer. This is certainly better than I remember it being. I wouldn’t have a qualm drinking another one of these.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 TheRealMGD (540) - Lakewood, Washington, USA - JUN 13, 2011
Cloudy orange-gold pour with a short and brief white head leaving minimal lace. Caramel, malty nose. Caramel medium body with moderate coarse carbonation. Hops are a bit lightweight here, adding some peppery and light citrus to the middle. Finish has some rye funkiness.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 DrnkMcDermott (2621) - Downers Grove, Illinois, USA - OCT 12, 2010
Single 12 oz. bottle, $1.50 @ HyVee, Carroll, IA. Rather promising start. Smell under cap and in the glass lets loose some nice American hops in courteous proportions. Color is the light end of the Pale Ale spectrum, a little hazy, with some packed, small bubbles in the foam. Taste? Sure, it’s good. Nice brace of Cascades up front. Malts are a little thin and stingy against the hops, befitting the standard abv. Seems to have been force carbonated, giving it a fizzy soda mouthfeel, which I haven’t much cared for in a hoppy beer. Still, this is worth a try.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 RSRIZZO (1810) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - AUG 5, 2010
12oz bottle courtesy of Headbanger poured into a shaker at 41°. Color is a slightly hazy amber with good carbonation and a thin head. Aroma is a soapy hop scent with rich malt. This is a medium body brew with a smooth mouth feel. Flavor is malty, some caramel, floral hops and a mild bitterness. In the after taste the soapy thing that is in the aroma comes back out. Overall its good but the soap thing throws it off.

Bottle. Poured a lighter yellow color with a very small white head. Aroma was biscuit malts. faint hops and pine. Flavor was thin. Some hop backbone to it, with a sweeter finish. Thin watery body. Not a lot to this one.
