This lager poured a crystal clear, light yellow colour with a big, bright white, foamy head. To the nose there are scents of eggs, corn and sweet malt. First taste was watery with a almost wine flavour to the finish. This was then tapered to a watery corn flavour. Generic white bread swill.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
341 mL Bottle. Straw colour with a bubbly-fizzy short-lived head. Aroma is cereal, yeast, and earth with an innuendo of skunk. Corn dominates over whatever grains are in there. Is that simulated hops Iím getting in the aftertaste? No, itís a mix of dirty ash tray and derriŤre de skunk. Bitter-nutty finish. Palate is thin, somewhat watery with barely enough of a definition of beer to offset some of it. Whoever this "James" is, heís not Ready for any serious beer drinking.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Smells of corn, rice and adjuncts, pale yellow, pours a small short lived white head. Taste is plastic, and what Iíd imagine watered down gasoline would be like. Thin, unpleasant. Very poor.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Pours pale color with white head. Aroma is not so good. Taste that is there is pretty bad. I do not much like it, but apparently in Canada you have less choice of cheap beers. At least it has an extra .5 alcohol.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Best in its class. And, better than any of the big 10. The price difference between this beer and say, Crapadian, suggests the latter ought to be somewhat better. Itís not.
Good for a first beer, but not enough depth to keep me interested.

a really good value buck a beer because of the extra 0.5%, tastes watery and a bit sour, but not unpleasant and at least tastes more substantial than mooseheads other beer

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This is one of the finest bang for your buck beers out there. Very commercial taste but I found it has a slight little zing to be offered. Can only find it at one place in the city at the old moosehead brewery store here in Dartmouth where it isent as cheep as it used to be.

0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
this was awful. There is a cooked vegetal/corny aroma and flavour that is just bad. NOrmally you would expect that in these budget crap lagers, but in this one itís there, and its nastier than usual. And i could actuall tatse the alcohol, in a 5.5% beer, that should not happen. Just a brutal beer.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Considering itís just a low-end buck-a-beer for the budgeted student, this is actually a surprisingly decent beer. Yeah, itís corny and probably filled with adjuncts, but it still seems to taste better than most other crappy budget beers out there.
