COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A smooth real beer taste without aftertaste. It is fully fermented, lightly hopped and dry brewed, creating a lightly coloured beer with less body.

Best in its class. And, better than any of the big 10. The price difference between this beer and say, Crapadian, suggests the latter ought to be somewhat better. Itís not. Good for a first beer, but not enough depth to keep me interested.

a really good value buck a beer because of the extra 0.5%, tastes watery and a bit sour, but not unpleasant and at least tastes more substantial than mooseheads other beer

This is one of the finest bang for your buck beers out there. Very commercial taste but I found it has a slight little zing to be offered. Can only find it at one place in the city at the old moosehead brewery store here in Dartmouth where it isent as cheep as it used to be.

this was awful. There is a cooked vegetal/corny aroma and flavour that is just bad. NOrmally you would expect that in these budget crap lagers, but in this one itís there, and its nastier than usual. And i could actuall tatse the alcohol, in a 5.5% beer, that should not happen. Just a brutal beer.

Considering itís just a low-end buck-a-beer for the budgeted student, this is actually a surprisingly decent beer. Yeah, itís corny and probably filled with adjuncts, but it still seems to taste better than most other crappy budget beers out there.

I used to drink a case of this now and then when it was available in Nova Scotia. It was pretty good for what it was. Decent body and has some nice flavor with a little extra kick at 5.5%. Would buy it again but I never see it in Halifax anymore. Also has some goofy little sayings under the bottle caps.

Bottle. My Dad is now a James Ready Light drinker instead of a Coors light drinker, but he bought a case of this y mistake - so, another rating for me! Light yellow (but slightly darker than the light), little head. Aroma of harsh grain and a hint of alcohol (really). Taste - I was really surprised how pronounced the alcohol was - when the body is this thin, 5.5 stands out - I would have given it 6-7% - so while it adds a little more flavour than the light, it adds a harshness that ainít good - the light is inoffensive, this is more interesting but certainly more offensive.

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2008 A very plain lager, about equal to macros like Molson and Labatt... but itís buck a beer and 5.5! Pretty impressive for what it is Iíd say, though itís not much. Then again, you can easily get tired of this stuff.

Really good cheap beer. I know that sounds contradictory but itís easy drinking, low aftertaste, refreshing, and inexpensive.

Clear pale gold lager with inch thick porous head. It did not last even full minute. Plenty of carbonation noticed. Very little lace left behind. 2-
Aroma: abusive plain sweetness. No to very little hop notes. Sugars, dusty cardboard.
Light bodied, front especially thin. Sugar sweet lager mainly in the middle. James Ready left little aftertaste, some malt and dry alcohol as ďintriguingĒ factor. Poorly made even for obscure macro.
