COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A smooth real beer taste without aftertaste. It is fully fermented, lightly hopped and dry brewed, creating a lightly coloured beer with less body.

Pale yellow clear body with white lacing head. Aromas sweet malts, grains. Palate thin with medium carbonation and mouth feel. Aftertaste is slightly bitter, papery with weak short hops finish. Rather mild lager, easy to drink, flavorless. Overall pretty bulky and not worth second try.

341ml Bottle: BBD 31 Jul 2013. Drank in my Berlin hotel room on 25 Feb 2013 (don’t ask!). It’s a Lager: clear golden, bright and clean looking, usual white head. Grainy nose and taste: typical International Lager/Pilsner without any interesting or different attributes to the thousands of others out there. Nothing wrong with it: just your usual, unusual Lager/Pilsner.

Can. Pale gold colour, average white head. Sweet grainy aroma and flavour. Standard Canadian mass produced shitty lager. As Rosser would say: BOOOORRRRIIINNNGGG!

Pretty bad beer. The only good thing about this beer is that it is cheap. If you actually want a good tasting beer, I would avoid this one.

JR 5.5 was the staple of my university beer-drinking experience. Beyond the taste itself, we loved the campaign the company ran - from blank caps, to calendars, this is a brand that even if I didn’t like the taste, I would drink just for the fun the brand provides.

A light beer in color and taste. Truly the only memorable thing is that it's one of canada's cheaper beers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear golden of color with a small white head. An aroma of sweets, butter, malt and weak hay. A flavor of citrus, malt, butter, sweets and weak bitterness.
