4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap at the Portland Hotel. Great beer, on the bitter side, but with good balance. Aromas of liquorice, coffee, and grass. Taste has a sweet start, with bitterness taking over for a long finish. Palate is velvety, and full bodied. Black, with a frothy head.
