This premium hand~crafted ale is a unique brew of three malts and three Tasmanian hops added late to the kettle plus an original 125 year old, top fermenting ale yeast, creating an easy~drinking, deep copper~coloured ale with distinct richness, creamy head, and a slightly nutty finish.

Bottle @ First Official Randers Tasting. Pours clear amber with airy off-white head. Cleara roma of malt, caramel and yeast, with some hoppy notes. Sweetish, fruity and malty flavour, with rather faint touches of yeast and notes of hops and leaves. Rather watery despite the lively carbonation. Mildly bitter aftertaste. Okay but nithing really impresssive.

It’s an amber. Tasted a bit bland and lager-like but it was ok. Better than some of the bigger multinational offerings available.

Pint bottle into glass. Burnt malt nose. A little toffee. Deep amber /red. Substantial cream coloured head. Burnt roasted toffee taste with a fresh slight bitter finish. This is a nice beer. I have seen this on tap occasionally in Sydney.

While in Australia suggestion from a friend here. Nice surprise, when reading amber ale was expecting something stronger. Well, not, totally smooth, fruity and malty, and easy to drink. A nice red one, would love to drink it again, in Europe !
