This premium hand~crafted ale is a unique brew of three malts and three Tasmanian hops added late to the kettle plus an original 125 year old, top fermenting ale yeast, creating an easy~drinking, deep copper~coloured ale with distinct richness, creamy head, and a slightly nutty finish.

A fantastic beer that truly can’t be appreciated till after 2 or 3 of them. A cooper coloured beer with a lovely hoppy aroma with a good malty taste. Good head retention that lasts from start to finish as the beer will continue to work from start to end. Not a beer that everyone will love due to its full body. But a true ale that gets better and better after each one.

Bottle @ First Official Randers Tasting. Pours clear amber with airy off-white head. Cleara roma of malt, caramel and yeast, with some hoppy notes. Sweetish, fruity and malty flavour, with rather faint touches of yeast and notes of hops and leaves. Rather watery despite the lively carbonation. Mildly bitter aftertaste. Okay but nithing really impresssive.

It’s an amber. Tasted a bit bland and lager-like but it was ok. Better than some of the bigger multinational offerings available.

Pint bottle into glass. Burnt malt nose. A little toffee. Deep amber /red. Substantial cream coloured head. Burnt roasted toffee taste with a fresh slight bitter finish. This is a nice beer. I have seen this on tap occasionally in Sydney.

While in Australia suggestion from a friend here. Nice surprise, when reading amber ale was expecting something stronger. Well, not, totally smooth, fruity and malty, and easy to drink. A nice red one, would love to drink it again, in Europe !

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2014 This one has been a surprise, for an amber ale probably a bit on the weaker/lighter side for expectations but bloody hell, this is really smooth, with some chocolate and burnt oats, lovely head, very easy to drink but with a very teasingly decent but relatively subtle flavour. I think this is a really good one albeit a bitsa a bit of this a bit of that that not really fits strictly into a category, I keep going back to it and about the boc (beer of choice) at the moment due to bangforbuck until some other temptress comes along and bites my bullet.

Bottle at Tight Restaurant, Copenhagen - amber pour with off-white head. Fruity and malty aroma and taste, some caramel malts, light fudge toffee, nutty, some twiggy hop bite, not bad.
