James Squire India Pale Ale is made with only Munich and pale malt, so it brews to a rich, golden colour, with a robust, malty character. Its earthy floral aromas are a result of dry-hopping with English Fuggles hops added in generous amounts directly to the maturation tanks. This India Pale Ale is handcrafted in the traditional style. It is higher in alcohol, effervescent and has a characteristic highly hopped bitterness with a crisp finish on the palate.

6 pack from dan murphys, poured into lager glass, nice amber colour, good lacing around the glass, more a entry level ipa but I still enjoyed it

345ml bottle into pint glass. Spicy savoury nose. A bit smoky even. Copper beer with small lasting white head. A few tiny bubbles. Hoppy bitter finish which lingers. It’s OK.

Pleasant aroma when poured, mostly malts and something nutty but difficult to place. Pours a lovely dark amber in the glass with a light frothy head that thins but lasts. Some lacing. Feels light in the mouth with good carbonation. Taste is a refreshing bitter flavour with hops being prominent. I could drink this all day in the sun.

Pours orange to brown color with a medium head. Aroma of honey, spices with a floral, slightly malty and sour taste. A bit too much carbonation for my taste. Not my kind of IPA.

Poured from the bottle. A bit sharp at first, but quite nice after a few sips. Seems to be missing something compared to my preferred IPAs from Mash and Brewdog.

Nice honey aroma. Dark brown colour with great head. Honey flavor up front with bitter aftertaste. Low carbonation with smooth heavy body.

The beer poured from a bottle is a beautiful clear amber. Not too much on the nose but the taste is quite malty with some citrus notes, but not a very hoppy IPA. Not very adventurous but a nice beer

Bottle. Clear copper pour with a white head. Bland hop aromas. Nondescript almost Pilsner like hop notes. Good balance. Average body with a below average mouthfeel.

Nice beer,a lighter version of IPA, lacking hops or aroma could be better priced.

345ml bottle. Poured a deep, clear copper-amber with a tall, rocky and mostly lasting beige head leaving a soapy lace. Robust burnt caramel, toasted bread and toffee-styled malts with marmalade, tangerine and grapefruit hops to balance. Medium body with a dry, spritzy carbonation and a lengthy earthy, bittersweet finish.

Pours a red amber with a foamy beige head. Sweet aroma of malts, some stone fruit, floral and a hint of citrus. Initial bitterness punch, sweet malt flavour and a mellow hoppy finish. Nice malt complexity. Clearly made to be drinkable and in large batches, but definitely above average.
