Bottle - 15/1/11. Golden coloured. Barley and dry grass in the nose. Quite sweet tasting with perhaps a hint of honey. OK beer but not brilliant.

Clean, crisp. A little bit of hop, a little bit of malt - pretty easy going offering really.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can first, then a bottle: pours as it promises on the label (golden!), with a decently persistent white head. Fruity on the nose and palate, with light caramel notes. Decent ale.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: AUG 22, 2010 pours golden (surprise!) with a nice frothy white head. packed full of tropical aromas, this beer is nice to chill out on, although drinking all night is not recommended as the fruitiness can be sickly after a while.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: SEP 28, 2010 I am finding this to be the go-to-beer in most pubs around sydney due to it increasingly being available. Easy drinking. Suttle aromas of flowers. Bit of a hop presence.

Tap (Barney Allenís). Orange, tight white head. When really cold - as it was served - itís pretty much like any vaguely decent Australian lager. Thereís a bit more body from well-defined malt and upon a bit of warming, thereís some earthy and citrus hops on the nose. If you look at it as an alternative to VB itís good (and I guess thatís what they were going for) but this is nothing much.
