Jul 14, 2003 Clear golden color with scant foam. Slightly oily, creamy palate. This ale has a very slight sweetness, but is really rather boring. And it was served altogether too cold - I couldn't catch the aroma. It almost froze the glass when poured!

Jul 14, 2003 Only 3.5% ABW. Dry, marginally sweet and aslo somewhat lemony and astringent. Exceptionally clear and thin, watery, but thirst quenching.

Sep 13, 2002 Mild and crackery like too many microbrewed ’blondes’ and ’kolsches’, but with more substance and body, so more worthy of praise.
