3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewery. Served a dark brown color with a small head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate, not much else. Taste of roasted malt with a bit of caramel and chocolate. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Fairly full body, creamy and smooth. Nice balance. Nice beer to have on a cold evening. Good for a couple.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at cookie, very good beer, it really grew on me (but it was served too cold). Aroma has chocolate, and roastiness; not very intense. Flavour is sweet, with light bitterness. Good in the palate, velvety, with medium to full body. Colour is dark brown, with a thin head that doesn’t last all the way.
