3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 HopRedHead (123) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - APR 18, 2013
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a cloudy copper with a thin tan head. Resin hop aroma with a balanced toffee back. Taste is very dimensional. Tasting a variety of hop flavours like citrus, tropical and also piney/resin, all while retaining the toasty caramel undercurrent. Booze is concealed, just a slight warmth in the bitter aftertaste. Great IPA.

Burnt toffee aroma. Nice strong bitterness upfront. Toasty caramel flavours with a little piney hop. Bitter but balanced with the sweet. Nice.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 KeefOz (472) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - OCT 19, 2012
Poured with a three- to four-finger off white head that subsided to two fingers then collapsed to a thin line of bubbles. A clean golden amber with moderate carbonation that laced OK. Aroma of hops and maybe a bit of sweet caramel. Taste dominated by hops - bitter hops hits up front then continues right through. Medium body. Long not-so-smooth bitter finish. Overall too bitter (for me).
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Bif (1023) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 17, 2012
On tap at the Brewery. Served amhazy dark copper color with a good head that fades slowly with nice lacing. Aroma of pine and citrus, some caramel and bit of grain in the background. Taste has an initial nip of pine, then some caramel sweetness with some grain. Nice bitterness throughout and a dry finish. Medium body, crisp, smooth and refreshing. Nicely balanced. An enjoyable beer, a nice Australian IPA. good for a few.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 LesArgen (131) - AUSTRALIA - SEP 8, 2012
This lovely copper beer gives off aromas of grapefruit and mandarin, which give way to toffee and milk arrowroot. The hops are more dominant in the mouth with a big whack of grapefruit settling on the rear of the tongue and only slight hints of caramel amidst a quite oily texture.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 fletchfighters (821) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 8, 2012
Best example of an Australian IPA out there. Good copper color, big citrus nose with toffee malt backbone. Well carbonated and good oily residue. Backbone is a little more obvious in the mouth but still a solid beer. Hard to find now.

Bottle- lovely citrus hop aromas, full bodied, with strong bitterness and a hint of alcohol in the mouthfeel and finishing with a refreshing hop bitterness.
