Bottle- lovely citrus hop aromas, full bodied, with strong bitterness and a hint of alcohol in the mouthfeel and finishing with a refreshing hop bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Copper in colour with a thick head that slowly dissipates into a think film, nice aroma. Good taste however alcohol is a little prominent in the taste. Overall a enjoyable beer and a solid ipa from Australia.

Pours a dark cloudy copper, toffee and rich caramel on the nose. Flavour is a biscuitey malt and hints of butterscotch with earthy/resin undertones.

UPDATED: JUN 10, 2011 Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a hazy copper with a small off white head. Pine and citrus on the nose with a good caramel malt backing. Flavour is made up of hop resin and sweet malts. Caramel, toffee and more hop resin in there. Pretty good and one of the better aussie brews

6 pack bought at international beer store, awesome knuckle duster type holder. Very floral, hoppy, carmel notes, good head, nice amber colour, nicely bitter.

Bottle @ Oz’n’NZ tasting 2011. [thanks bluebetty]
Clear amber with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is quite herbal, some plant sap on a caramel base. Medium carbonation, fine dry and bitter palate. Flavour is high on bitterness, grassy and herbal hops. Good caramel sweetness in the back even if it all does feel a tad too sweet. Still nice despite the sweetness.

Slightly cloudy dark amber orange. Head looks good then fades with good lacing. Mostly pine & citrus with some caramel aroma. Resinous hops then a little roasted caramel malt then more hops. Smooth in the mouthat first then the hops take over for a dry hoppy finish. OK hop weighted IPA.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and alcohol as well as a light note of fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw, as well as lighter notes of fruits and alcohol, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

Beautiful aromas of pineapple juice, with a resinous mouthfeel hop flavour is sensational and caramel malt overtones, best out of tap one of my faves.

This wasn’t as hoppy as i was hoping. drank it after having the Holgate Hopinator which really showed this beer up. I may not have had a fresh botlle though which would definately affect the amount of hop aroma and freshness of the flavour.
