(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 28 Sep 2012. 7.0%) Dark brown colour, almost black, with creamy beige head. Roasted, malty nose with dark chocolate, cacao, black coffee and a touch of liquorice. Sampled from draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival 2005.
My first beer of this years festival and what a start it was!! Dark brown with a small tan head. Dark roasted malt aroma along with chocolate and liquorice. Very full and nice with a good complexity. Sharp and biding flavor of roasted malt and liquorice with a tone of berries. A bit alcoholic, but the alcohol is well integrated. Bitter finish. A very tasty and interesting porter that I hope to see on bottle one day!

rickgordon (3845) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 22, 2005
On draught at Plain Kitchen, Göteborg. Black, with a tint of red. Light brown head. Loads of toasty licorice in aroma and the familiar house yeast character. Chewy, fiery mouthfeel. Licoricy backbone with a sweetness, that’s perfectly balanced by a robust bitterness. Might as well be taken for an Imperial Stout. Great beer!
