2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottled. Clear, golden with a beige head. Alcohol (!), hops, fruits and resin in the aroma. The flavor is resiny, with notes of malt. Medium body and a long bitter finish. Can’t really enjoy those Jämtland lagers. (061013)

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light, slightly cloudy copper with a small dissapating white head. Aroma of grain, malts, citrus and fruit. Strong body, with flavours of grain, peach, lemon, yeast and light toffee. Medium length malty finish, maybe could have had some more aggressive hopping.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at Plain Kitchen, Göteborg. A very smooth beer. Very tasty, lots of fruit in there. Is it a pilsener, it is in no way typical of the style. Another winner from Jämtland.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Clear amber with a big rocky head. Potent hop aroma with citrus and grass as well as some breadiness. Fruity hops flavours, with hints of peach, rather semi-dry throughout, light-bodied. Slightly harsh bitter finish. More like an ale than a lager. Original.

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2008 50 cl bottle from Swedish Systembolaget. Amber color, white fluffy head. Hoppy citrus scent. Hoppy taste. Medium body and bitterness. Sweet and fruity aftertaste. I wouldn’t guess it as a lager.
(Bottle from Systembolaget)
Blind tasting on September 27, 2008

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours an light amber with not much head. Fruit and bread on the nose. Flavors are peach and lemon, with a slight hop backdrop. Very smooth and much richer than other pilsners I have tasted previously. American and European pilsners seem to be more thin and skunky actually. Thanks to Marsiblursi for this bottle.
