A Mes rate. At Chris O’s pre GBBF. Gold with a good White head. Rather soapy but it’s well balanced otherwise. Esy to drink and a decent but delicate bitter hit in the finish.

Thanks to Bolagshataren!!!
Into the glass pours a light amber colored beer with a little fine foam. Sweet caramelly smell, slightly honey, delicately hopped. Starts very caramelly and malty-bitter, also pleasant aroma hops are noticeable. Aftertaste is very long, hoppy bitter and tart,. The further course is well balanced with caramelmalts and lots of bitter- and aromahops! Excellent beer!

50 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Clear, amber (as the name would suggest) liquid with medium frothy off-white head. Aroma is quite malty with notes of caramel, noble/floral hops, butter and fruit. Taste is quite dry with medium to high bitterness (for the style) and similar notes as the aroma. Well balanced and highly drinkable. Medium bodied with nice carbonation. Good, refreshing beer.

15.01.2011. 0,5l Bottle. From Systembolaget Charlottenberg. Golden yellow colour with a white head. A lot of carbonation gives a frothing head of foam. Aroma is sour with stinging flavours of wild yeast and home made white wine. There is most certenly something wrong with this bottle. Thats the reason for the low rating.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Mad_Ferret (508) - SWEDEN - JAN 10, 2011
Bottle. Clear golden amber with a quite good off-white head. Theres a lot of caramel/butterscotch on the nose. Like sweet burnt butter. This buttery aroma totally takes over and I can hardly detect anything else. Taste is sweet, buttery and caramelly which leads to a smooth bitterness that ends quite bitter and dry. Jämtlands beers really have their own character, and I kind of like it actually.
