2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Frovigalning (1320) - Örebro, SWEDEN - SEP 6, 2009
It poured a clear dark golden-amber liquid with a medium sized foam that left some lacing. It had a scent of grassy hops, malt and hay. It had a taste of grassy hops, malt, something sweet and a hint of caramell. It also had some acidicy and wasn’t very smooth. A very nice lager, but only a decent beer.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 finol (1217) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 26, 2009
Bottle from Systembolaget
Pours amber with a white head
Fruity taste and the body/mouthfeel is more like an ale than a lager.
Rated one month past bb-date.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Ljunkan (521) - Drammen, NORWAY - APR 30, 2009
UPDATED: NOV 17, 2009 Bottle. Clear golden to amber color with a mediumsized white head. Aroma of flowers, citrus and some bready malt. Flavour is quite malty with some light hoppy citrus notes and a medium bitter finish. Smooth mouthfeel, body is medium, carbonation is soft. A nice beer with good thirst quenching abilities - probably a good choice when you want something as far away from complex as possible, but still with some taste.
