Golden color, small white head. Sweet, toffeeish, a bit of diacetyl in the nose. Medium-bodied. Malty with hoppy finish with toffeeish side notes. Ok session beer, but not very good one - overrated or bad batch.

small white head on an amber body. This beer tastes a little better than its sister the Presiden lager, but not much. It could be more malty and generally have more taste.

rbesg06, on tap at plain kitchen. i dunno, i couldn’t get too excited about jamtlands, maybe they used to be better. this had a dusty aroma, easy smooth texture and moderate bitterness, not a whole lot to make it stand out from a typical lager

bottle. Dark golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is hop, fruit. Flavour is hop, malt, fruit.

Cloudy amber with a small creamy white head.
Bread, malt, citrus. Dull with a weak aftertaste.

Amber has a thousand different nuances. This is one of them of course, a bit of mist in the not totally clear liquid too, just like bärnsten/amber. It has a yellow tinted average head, doesn’t smell much, doesn’t taste much. Some hops, average bitterness. Very much a standard lager. I expect more from Jämtlands.

Bottled. Clear, golden with a beige head. Alcohol (!), hops, fruits and resin in the aroma. The flavor is resiny, with notes of malt. Medium body and a long bitter finish. Can’t really enjoy those Jämtland lagers. (061013)

Clear deep golden with medium white head. Sourish aroma with hoppy notes. Sour flavour with hoppy and butter notes. Sourish finish. The hops could not hide the infection.

15.01.2011. 0,5l Bottle. From Systembolaget Charlottenberg. Golden yellow colour with a white head. A lot of carbonation gives a frothing head of foam. Aroma is sour with stinging flavours of wild yeast and home made white wine. There is most certenly something wrong with this bottle. Thats the reason for the low rating.
