Yes! What an ale! Jamtlands prove they are one of the leaders in swedish brewring. The appearance is so nice with its amer colour and a little creamy head. It has aroma from nuts and caramel. The tast is "yammie"! Great bitternes and sweetnes.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Papsoe (23023) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 26, 2005
UPDATED: JUN 28, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Pretty, dark amber-coloured beer with a small but quite dense head. Unpasteurized ale and very English in style. Quite full and not really that bitter - actually the sweet notes are more pronounced. Slightly roasted caramel. Apparantly brewed with some oats. 260503

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ChristianSA (368) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 8, 2005
Bottle. Pillowy white head on top of a light marhogany ale. As the bottle was opened i got a sour whiff of something, but it was OK when poured in the glass where it displayed some light hoppiness and slight butter. The flacor is quite bitter, with some roast and caramel sweetness. Thin mouthfeel, and too carbonated. One of the best bottled bitters I’ve had, and classes above its british cousins. I’d love to taste tthis from a cask!
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 oh6gdx (16098) - Vasa, FINLAND - FEB 14, 2005
Bottled. Clear copper brown, small white head. Aroma consists of hops and roast, with notes of citrus. Very wellbalanced taste of malt and roast. Bitterness in the taste is a bit delayed. Best bitter I’ve had so far.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 TBone (9434) - Pori, FINLAND - FEB 6, 2005
Bottled (BB 04/2005)
Clear copper brown color, with medium-sized off-white head, lace. Aroma of English hops and notes of roast and caramel. Interesting mouthfeel: medium-bodied with toffee and slightly roasted malt tones. Very good late bitterness in the aftertaste. Very British and very well-balanced, similar to some Fuller’s brews.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Eructoblaster (2122) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 22, 2004
On tap at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Dark copper body topped with average and diminishing bubbly head. Average malty/hoppy aroma with light herbal and spicy notes. Nice and robust hoppy taste with some roasty notes. Decent bitter finish. Does the job pretty well...
