An amber beer with a beutiful lasting head. The aroma is slightly sweet with notes of oranges and hops. The flavor is a flat bitter one with a slight metallic note. It ends with a lot of bitterness from a great hop. Really good for a bitter.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 26, 2005
UPDATED: JUN 28, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Pretty, dark amber-coloured beer with a small but quite dense head. Unpasteurized ale and very English in style. Quite full and not really that bitter - actually the sweet notes are more pronounced. Slightly roasted caramel. Apparantly brewed with some oats. 260503

Bottled. Clear copper brown, small white head. Aroma consists of hops and roast, with notes of citrus. Very wellbalanced taste of malt and roast. Bitterness in the taste is a bit delayed. Best bitter I’ve had so far.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 fiulijn (12200) - Malmö, DENMARK - FEB 6, 2003
Beautiful dark amber color; creamy head. Delicate malt aroma; light roasted malt. Good malty body, strong but pretty dry. A bold bitterness, not really hop-aromatic. Drinkable, but among the Biblic ones I still prefer the <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/ShowBeer.asp?BeerID=5 Hell.
