4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 hammenlind (737) - Sundbyberg, SWEDEN - MAY 22, 2005

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Eyedrinkale (3214) - Astoria, New York, USA - MAY 15, 2005
Almost black color with a small head. Body is medium to light. Taste is coffee and roasted malts with a bit of dare I say hoppiness? Somehow, it’s just a bit tart. Carbonation is a bit crisp but the flavors don’t meld all that well.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Dalle (1145) - Skørping, DENMARK - APR 9, 2005
Bottle. Dark brown with bubbly beige head. Packed to the brim! Malt, coffee, dark chocolate, leather, vegemite, chalky (do not want to steal duff’s ashtray/charcoal - but that’s more it!), dry and bitter finish. Full, fluffy(?) mouthfeel. I love it - must be one of the best bottom-fermented beer I’ve ever had.
