Coffee, chocolate and more coffee. Darkest brown, fair toffee head. Roasted malt flavour, good bitterness follows. Complex, feels like a Belgian. Smooth, with hints of fruit and nuts. Fabulous Beer!

RateBeer Summer (Toronto) ’02: IMHO one of the best beers at RateBeer ’02. Molasses aroma with some deep hops, brown color, super long aftertaste. Very bold and complex. An aptly named brew.

Citrus aroma with notes of sweet malt. Roasted notes. Chocolate, müsli, hops and spices.
Malty flavor with notes of müsli, licorice and chocolate. Burnt and dry with firm bitter finish.

Very nice brew. Burnt coffe nose and also quite a hoppy aroma aswell. Very ashtray, charcoal, burnt coffee flavour, pretty good stuff, also nice hoppy bitterness, i really dug this stuff.
