330 ml bottle. Clear dark golden body with a big, creamy, quite dense beige head. Mild in aroma, malt, toffee, bread and some brown sugar. Flavor is quite sweet caramel malt, toast with a harsh bitterness and hint of iron. Medium body and rather harsh aftertaste. Not very nice this one, I feels a bit old and un-fresh, but still way within best before date.

Bottle at home. One year old bottle. Pours a slightly hazy reddish brown color with a big creamy khaki head. Malty aroma of toffee, pine, chocolate and heather. More hops in the flavor with pine and grapefruit. Some wood, dried fruit, caramel, roasted malt and rye bread as well. Slightly sour. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a light to medium bitterness. A tasteful and hoppy English ale.

Good fawn head, clear plum red body. Aroma of juicy brown caramel, butterscotch and plum peels. Tastes sweet hops, soft caramel, plum peels, almond pudding, butterscotch and dark bread. Fine carbonation and mostly soft impression. Good and easy in the mouth. Malty finish, juicy and average lasting. Leaves a good impression overall. [50cl br btl abv6% B@Systembolaget T@Lmojoh]

500ml bottle provided by djoeye. Clear golden-brown body under a covering beige head. Poor Lacing. Modest smell of herbal hos and brown malts. Mild brown malty flavours of caramel and nuts mixed with dusty hops, hints of spices. Dry and soft in the mouth. Okay, a little restrained taste profile (Tromsø 23.05.015).

Poured from bottle, clear dark copper with low head. Aroma with notes of caramel, dried fruit, spice and herbs. Taste is full and rich with a large malt body and bitter sweet finish. Great with easter food or on it’s own.
