COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

puzzl (3257) - New York, New York, USA - APR 5, 2008
Bottle shared by MaxxDaddy. Light candy shell aroma, surprisingly like an easter egg candy. A bit of nutty hops. Flavor is fairly light, more of that easter thing, light spices/oregano and good hops. Better as it warms. Not too shabby.

Marsiblursi (3054) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 8, 2008
(Bottle) Pours a beautiful dark red with a sand coloured head. The aroma is dry roasted up front with tones of chocolate and cocoa but also some sweet liquorice, caramel/dark fudge, nuts, orange/mild piny like hops, milk and some subtle fruitiness. The flavour is medium roasted with tones of chocolate and liquorice. Some milk and earth. Light peppery and almost piny hops along with some sourish orange/citric hints. The mouthfeel is round and quite clean but with some unsatisfying hard edges. Light sweet, medium bitter and light to medium dry. Stable and chewable medium bodied. This is a good beer, but the name Jämtlands is not your obvious quality trademark anymore.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2008 Bottled:
Reddish brown with a dense head. Malt and marshmallow aroma . Sweet and malty flavour with notes of toffee and chocolate. The hops show up late and brings a slight roastiness as companion. Very Jämtland.

En typisk jämtlandsöl. Rejält tilltagen maltbas med kolaremmar, torkade päron sirapslimpa utan att bli för söt och likaledes rejäl UK-humlad med örtig, blommig och mineralrik smak en en uppstramande beska. Mums!

Good fawn head, clear plum red body. Aroma of juicy brown caramel, butterscotch and plum peels. Tastes sweet hops, soft caramel, plum peels, almond pudding, butterscotch and dark bread. Fine carbonation and mostly soft impression. Good and easy in the mouth. Malty finish, juicy and average lasting. Leaves a good impression overall. [50cl br btl abv6% B@Systembolaget T@Lmojoh]
