COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Jämtlands president is a bottom fermented beer in the style of a north German pilsener. The beer has a medium bitterness and nice aroma of Czechish hops."

Bottle. Low and quickly disappearing white fluffy head. Hazy light yellow body. Weak citrus aroma. Flavor of grapefruit with a good deal of bitterness as well. Low carbonation and a long bitter aftertaste.

Draught @ STBOWF. Stockholm Beer Festival 2008, Sweden.
Clear medium to dark yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, toffee, butter. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, finish has a very short note of sour malt. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [270908]

Small white head on a yellow body. Perhaps I got the wrong bottle, but I found this beer tasteless. Thin and watery, it has none of the taste I expected from a beer. In fact I had the impression of drinking another chear Danish pilsner. Bad experience that shall not be done again I hope.

Bottle, bought at Systembolaget, Malmö. Thank you, myrup. My 100th Swedish brew, only the 8th country to reach that glory. Pours pale, lightly hazy golden with a small, frothy, white head. Good amount of bubbles. Crisp malts aroma with some flowery and citric hops. Highish carbonation, fine lightly dry mouthfeel. Flavour is a tad bland on the malts side of things. There are good, dry hops, though. Very drinkable, as Aab is leading Man U atm...

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a diminished white head. Light spiced hoppy aroma. Mild spiced and caramel malty flavoured with a mild bitterness. Lingering caramel malty finish with a light spice note.

Bottle 50cl - golden to blond colored beer with a smooth but firm white head. Aroma promises nothing better than an average beer, it’s simply far to weak. Flavor is slightly better and is quite fresh when the bitterness kicks in. Good for bbqing, not much more. Perhaps for looking at...

Bottle. Pale yellow brown body. Frothy white head. Light hoppy aroma. The aroma is good, but hard to find. Light hoppy flavour. Ok balance. A nice lager. Has the fruity hints as other JB lagers. (Ånn, 19.03.08)

Bottled. A clear blonde beer with a big and persistent white head. Strange aroma with hops that give a "soapy" sensation. Light/medium body, hoppy, medium/high bitterness, and quite long aftertaste. Not totally balanced, but drinkable and refreshing. A strange Pilsner.

Biggish white shiny head. Faintly hazy yellow body. Sweetish earthy pea and flowers aroma, very harmonic. Dry floral, herbal aroma with notes of tea and peas. Harmonic. Slightly acidic lemony aftertaste. A bit too acidic for me. Might be too old. Should rerate. (0.5l bottle from Systembolaget, Stockholm. BBD is 2007/09.)

Dry crisp spicy. Hoppy, bitter, bubbly, sour. If you need a lager, this is was you need. Long live Evert Ljusberg!
