Reminds me about a stronger version of Postiljon from the same brewery. It pours as a rubin red liquid with a white foam, Some chocolate? Little bit roasty taste. A sting from the alcohol, dry and caramel.

500ml Bottle (Thanks Omhper) - Dark brown with some red tinges. Malty and fruity aroma hints of marzipan, Christmas cake and raisins. Fruity, malty and slightly roasted taste with some slightly tart hints and notes of caramel, raisins and marzipan. It has aged well.

Bottle from Alex aka Masterski. He always comes up with some crazy shit to drink...this is no exception. Bottle says best by December 2007...let’s see what the heck is up with this one. From bottle into tasting glass. A - Pours a dark cherry reddish/brown, off-white head with a slim ring around the glass. S - Smells a bit medicinal, chocolate, cherries. T - I’m getting a bit of a metallic taste here, some dark chocolate, cherries, coffee, with some medicinal qualities. The alcohol is hidden very well, no real detection. M - Light to medium, light carbonation, semi-dry finish. D - Pretty damn easy to drink, although the metallic and medicinal notes I pick up take away from truly enjoying it. Not bad, but not great.

I found an old bottle of this beer and it still had a good head though short. The color is dark red-brown. THe aroma is a litle tired but have some madera notes and some hops. The taste is a litle spicy and have some hot alcohole. It is not smoth and litle to small body for this kind of beer.

courtesy of, and shared with Gnoff. ’06 bottle, thanks for sharing this rare gem. pours copper, brozn, frothy off white head. Aroma, apple, pear, cider like nose with some astringency and nice roasted malts. Taste, roasted malts, dry fruits, caramel, hoppy and sugary. Even at 7%, the abv was noticeable.

Bottle. A dark brown beer with a beige head. The aroma and taste is roasted malt, berries and some sourness. Medium body with a dry light sour finish. Everyone else at the table likes it, I think it might be infected.

Bottle. [Another great tasting session @ Papsoe] Average thick creamy beige head that mostly lasted. Clear mahogany color. Fair display of lacework. Light grainy, hint of sweet butter, floral notes. Over the palate roasted malt, hint of chocolate and light coffee feel. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet with good bitter notes. Light sweet coffee like finish. 7 / 3 / 7 / 3 / 14
