COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It is produced according to old recipes from lighter, caramel Bavarian and colour malt. It is a medium-full beer of mild caramel flavour which represents ideal harmony of sweet and bitter tastes 4,0 % alcohol vol.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2005 March, 2003: An oily mahogony colour with a dirty clinging head. A vaque metallic aroma which eventually yields up faint soiled nappies, rust, and week old cut grass that is just starting to get mouldy. A light body with almost all the carbonation having gone into the head. Slight caramel flavours give way to brown sugar, quickly followed by metallic hops which is finished by some sweetish malt. A third world lager for sure. This brewery has survived since 1894 due to being nationalised in 1948. At the moment they seem keen to export at cheap prices. It’s not big, and it’s not clever. [1.7]
