3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Quack-Duck (5921) - Down South, - FEB 8, 2009
0.33l-bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden yellow colour, mid-sized fluffy white head. Hoppy nose. Medium-bodied, shy but solid malty background with very intensive hoppy flavours dominating the flavour. Grassy and resiny, quite bitter for a Pils from Southern Germany. A clean, crisp and surprisingly hoppy-bitter Pils, a very pleasant surprise from the Bavarian Forest!

Bottle: Golden with a greenish sheen, slowly diminishing small white head; grainy nose with a shy grainy-hoppy touch; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, quite dry, light bodied; a tinge of cardboard in the grassy dry finish. Not bad, but tastes like an "industrial" beer.........
