Quack-Duck (5921) - Down South, - FEB 8, 2009
0.33l-bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden yellow colour, mid-sized fluffy white head. Hoppy nose. Medium-bodied, shy but solid malty background with very intensive hoppy flavours dominating the flavour. Grassy and resiny, quite bitter for a Pils from Southern Germany. A clean, crisp and surprisingly hoppy-bitter Pils, a very pleasant surprise from the Bavarian Forest!

pivnizub (7240) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JUN 13, 2009
Bottle: Golden with a greenish sheen, slowly diminishing small white head; grainy nose with a shy grainy-hoppy touch; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, quite dry, light bodied; a tinge of cardboard in the grassy dry finish. Not bad, but tastes like an "industrial" beer.........

MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - MAY 18, 2009
(33cl bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Light-sweet and grainy nose with a slightly grassy and herbal hoppy touch. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Soft malty base, slightly grainy with a light touch of cardboard and early arriving herbal hoppy notes; dry and quite bitter hoppy finish with traces of cardboard. Classical and boring German Pilsener (14.V.09).
