I found it very drinkable, especially for the 6.5% Alcohol. The color is blond, a little bit cloudy and the froth is persistent enough. During the tasting I could notice bananas, pears and apples feelings. Very pleasant and it seemed not to much complex to me.

Sampled from a bottle at Mondial de la bière. Hazy yellow-gold with a small white head. Not a lot of funk in the aroma, relatively speaking. There is some melon in the flavour, and no sweetness or booze. Dryish, with low carbonation. Easy drinker.

Bottle, 6.5%. Subtle teaish hop aroma. Clear dark golden colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is rather hoppy, like a grassy hoppy pils. Hint of fruit, soft fruits with a faint hint of citrus. From the hops or yeast, it is hard to tell. Still very clean. Good clean bitterness in the finish, along with a little dust. Well-balanced. Perhaps too clean for the style, if that is possible.

750 mL bottle at home. Hazy yellow/orange appearance with a medium sized white head. Yeasty, citrusy, and a bit spicy Belgian aroma. Yeasty, citrusy body that’s a bit thin bodied, a little bit sour. Not my favorite Saison.

Tap. Huge blooming white foamy head on a lightly hazy golden yellow. Nice lacing. Aroma is a bit hoppy - floral and lightly citrusy. Citrus goes into the flavor a bit more, and hoppy for the style but a candied-like sweetness rounds it out. Medium body and a little slick.

Bottle from Monument Wine. Pours cloudy straw with a rich off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a dry fruity flavor with a heavy yeast presence and a subtly bitter finish.

courtesy of fiulijn - cloudy lactic-orange in colour and with a little but persistent foam; aroma of cream, marzipan and caramel; notes of yeast and grapefruit; a light tart acidity, medium-bodied, creamy mouthfeel and fairly bitter; long yeasty and grapefruity, caramelish aftertaste - balanced

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2011 Wow, wow. Draft at Moerder Lambic Fontainas. Great lacing, great vivacity in the body, but not too much. Aroma of herbs, metal, a little pineapple and other vague tropicalness. Flavors of white bread, slight cotton candy and pineapple. A little metallic. Great dryness, great naturalness. Delicious. Ryan always said I would like this. Rerate from bottle: Even better, superbly fresh beer, amazingly dry, hoppy tingling all over this beer. The aroma is even more tropical than on draft, and the flavor is also more intense (in every way, including with more than a little bit of cat pee/metallic [Simcoe? Amarillo?], however, this is just charming here believe it or not - this is hard to explain).

Bottle from Dranken Geers. Clear pale gold with a bright white head. Aroma is tummy banana material. I love a decent saison. Aroma has a refreshing hop presence with some lemon and vanilla. I love lemon and vanilla. Flavour is fruity without tasting like a tarts handbag. Very tasty, really enjoyed this one.
