(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of plovmand. Very hazy pale golden with lots of floaties and a white head. Spicy aroma with a little yeast. Medium body, sweetish malt and fruit with an astringent bitter finish. Mediocre. 230808

Dégustée chez Novabirra. Saison dorée, très aromatique, amertume prononcée, nez d’agrumes, mousse légère et compacte rafraîchissante.

Bottle, thx to plovmand. It pours a quite hazy yellowish-golden body with micro-floaties, and a small, white head. Fruity and lemony nose, slightly dusty. A bit lemony flavor, dusty notes, with pale malt, resin, some apple or pear and a pleasant bitterness. Medium body and a bitter finish. Sure, it’s a drinkable beer but it didn’t suit my palate. Would love to try it again though, as it seems most other people enjoy it. (080823)

no surprises with the cloudy style, it’s not filtered. The nose is quite perfect, the hops are really strongs, and it’s impossible to avoid to drink it... Palate is well balanced, alcool is not too much present, nor the spices, but of course as there is no spices... the flavours came from the hops, and they are really impressives... damn, that beer is quite perfect for bitter lovers...

Botella. Thanks Plovmand. Unclear golden with small floaties. Lovely fruity sweet malty aroma with some alcohol. Quite good a mouthfeel. Flavour of fruity hops with malt and a pleasant mild bitterness and a soft sweetness.

TFODRBSG08 Courtesy of Plovmand. It’s a hazy light golden beer with floaties and a creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, sweetness and a touch of floral honey. The flavour has sweetness, notes of fruit, citrus, malt and it is pretty dry. The balance is outstanding and it’s a pleasure to drink.

75cl bottle. Light, clean, golden color. Smells herbal, grassy. It starts light and bubbly, with some spice, brett, ripe apples, a little fruitiness. It finishes with some light hops and is quite crisp at the end. Very pleasant, good session.

Bottle, 2008 Pre-GBBF Chris_o Shindig. Pale gold, clean white head with some good stick. Vanilla aroma, orange smoothie, fresh lemon. Light, very airy delicate citrus flavor—not the aggressive chewy IPA sort of citrus—the citrus quality of fresh yellow roses. Added to that some dry chalk and dill. Doesn’t immediately come across as hoppy, but a lingering hop presence between sips seems to indicate more than the initial flavor or aroma. A lovely, bright, perfectly poised saison.

Bottle @ Chez Moeder Lambic Beer Cellar, Thx to Jean: Light cloudy gold with big head. Fruity aroma with hoppy notes. Some spices and wood developes in mouth. Flavour is very sweet with short bitter finish.

Bottle at Ulfborg RB tasting. It poured a hazy golden colour with a medium head. Aroma is spicy with fruity notes. Flavour is very dry with lots of fruit and spicy notes. Soft mouthfeel. Good bitter aftertaste.
