Bottle from 16 Tons Taphouse, Eugene. Pours a medium dark brown. Aroma is herbal funk, some resinous qualities as well. Body is very lively, finish abrupt with a slight tartness and maybe some caramel sweetness,. Not sure what to expect from this one, but it was mighty tasty. Looking forward to having the IV when I get a chance.

Draught- freshly tapped keg. Hazy dark orange, white fluffy head. Fruity nose. Super carbonated. A little too sour, but finishes nicely with subtle caramel. But a little too thin and fizzy for mine.

Jolie robe orangée, plutot limpide Un nez légèrement houblonné, épicé Un debut de bouche plutot frais. Tres legerement amer. Avec un bel equilibre entre la céréale grillé et le houblon. Une fin de bouche avec des notes très légèrement fruitées et épicées.

4oz pour at Max’s Belgian Fest. Pours a clear amber with some light, white head. Nose is sweet, floral, lightly nutty, pear, apple. Flavor is sweet, nutty, malty, cracker, apple, honey. Finishes dry with a light roastiness.

Very hazy brown - amber beer, tidy off white head. Crispy semi dry palate. Mild carbonation. Minerals and a little weak citrus. Mild ginger spice. Insipid pale malt in the finish. It’s all a bit bland.

Dark brown pour. Malty aroma. Flavor was malty with belgian yeast and oh my god prunes. Whole lotta prunes. A great start, but overall not terribly interesting. A bit disappointed, as it came highly recommended.

750 ml bottle. Can’t remember from where. Pours clear copper with a frothy and fizzy beige head that is rather quick to dissipate while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is tiny sweet, tiny sour and vinous with bread, dark grapes, wood, black pepper, lemon juice, cereal, hay, dry soil and hints of barnyard, caramel and resin. Taste is slightly sour and tiny funky with cereal, crackers, hay, dry wood, green grapes, black pepper, cloves, dry soil, lemon juice and sourdough bread. Mouthfeel is dry, spritzy and light to medium bodied. Finish is dry and spicy with crackers, wood, cereal, hay, grape skins, bread, lemon zest and wood. Quite tasty.
