(Jantjes Antonius Abt bier) Bottle 300 ml at home, served into a tulip glass. ABV 7.2% Hazy body, dirty yellow in colour, small and thin white head, with low retention, leaving light lacing on the glass. Aroma of malts, yeast, orange peel. Taste of malts, alcohol, orange peel, yeast, sugars. Thin body, low carbonation. Nothing special and not much different from their other tripel, minus maybe the funky notes, I wouldn’t be surprised if they filled bottles with the same batch.

Bottle @ home. Wow, a retired beer from Jantjes Brewery! What a find! Ok lets stop with the nonsense. Hazy yellow orange color, medium to full sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Smell and taste malts, slightly alcohol, a slightly weird kind of fruityness and a bit yeasty. Weird tripel maybe, but not neccessarily bad. Drinkable.

Hazy yellow with a tiny white head. Sweet yeasty aroma with hints of fruit and phenol. Flavour had yeasty and malty notes and it finished fairly dry.

Bottled. A golden beer with a slight sediment floating around under a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus, malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle, 7%. Bready aroma. Hazy golden colour. Small white head. The flavour has some vegetable, a little citrus. Vegetable and tartness seem to be the house flavours.

Bottle 30 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours golden with an off-white head. Dry fruity nose. Medium body, dry fruits with a present tartness. Dry finish. Very far from a Tripel. 190210
