Bottle at 30e PINT bokbierfestival. Dark creamy brown. Nice carbonation. Caramel and toffee flavours. Dry. Ends very smoothly. My favourite of the 25 I tried.

Bottle. Muddy dark brown with small head. Yeasty sourness dominates. Low carbonation and pleasent mouthfeel. If only it tasted better...

Cloudy dark ruby coloured beer with a small head. Sour fruity aroma. Light sweet start with a fruity sourish taste and a light bitter finish.

rauchbier (3205) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - DEC 10, 2003
Keg. Amsterdam BBF2003. Deeep red brown, long lingering beige head and low condition. Fruity malt and honey aromas, slight tart fruitiness at first in mouth then a bitter coffee note develops giving it a porter like edge. Finish is chalky dry, fruitily hoppy and lightly roasted. Way too complex for a Bok, and quite variable judging by other comments.

Bit sour smell, malty. Dark brown coloured, no head. Taste is very sweet, malty and fruity. Bit sticky palate. Not really great.

Bottled. Dark ruby, cloudy. Acidic nose, notes of honey. A strangely thin bock with sourish finish.

bierkoning (8109) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - NOV 5, 2002
2001 vintage. Malty aroma with licorice and apple. Sweet and sour taste, malty with pear and licorice. Long licorice finish. Amateuristically brewed and unbalanced, but nevertheless very drinkable.
