Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Gold with a small white head. Sweet citric hop aroma. Even a hint of grape in there. Taste is quite odd: fruit predominates - apple, perhaps. Some citrus and grassiness too. Slight bitterness. Interesting, but something’s not quite right in the mix.

Cask in Blackfriars. Aroma is citrusy, piney grassy character, yeastyness gives it a slight annoyingess which i csnt put my hand on. Taste is similar, hoppy enough, but im thinking it was perhaps a little old.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 maeib (6638) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JUN 21, 2008
Cask conditioned - handpump - Wig & Pen, Northampton. A light gold coloured beer with a whitish head and lacing. The aroma is lemony with some cleaning prodcuts. Hops and soap in the taste. Signs of sharpness, but the soapiness mellows it out too much. Sounds bad when written down, but actually pretty tasty.
