Cask@The Pembury Tavern, Hackney. Golden colour. This beer is the sum of its parts. Grainy malt, lightly citric leafy hops. Neither character standing out and quite balanced between the two. This was pretty thin and dull however.

Crystal clear amber beer with a head that sustains. In this bar anyway. Plenty of juicy citrus fruit in the taste. Only let down by a rather vegetable aroma of cabbage and potatoes. Otherwise ok. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

One-third pint, cask, Lister Bar, GBBF’11. Straight malt-fruity aroma. Toasted malts and grassy hops in flavour leading to a gentle bitter ending making this one a decent British bitter (London, 04.08.2011).
