Brewed to celebrate the re-opening of the Magnesia Bank pub in North Shields. Pint at the Isis in Sunderland. Light amber with a dissapating white head. Slightly winey aroma, reinforced by a flavour of sauvignon blanc. Medium bodied, medium bitter, medium carbonation. This is not to damn this beer with implied mediocrity: We were in a rush to leave, and I could happily have spent more time with it, as I felt like I’d just started to peel the layers of the onion.
