[cask at Cloisters, Edinburgh] Deep, clear reddish brown with a thick cream-coloured head. Nose of sweet fruity malt. Touch of toffee or caramel at first on the taste, then gives way to bitterness before the bittersweet finish. Gets quite bitter after a while, the sweetness diminishes [01042011]
