UPDATED: NOV 30, 2007 Cask at Peterborough Beer Fest. Clear golden. Vague grassy hops up front. Sweet and fruity, rather minerally with light-medium body. Drying finish with light resiny bitterness. Rather anonumous.

Bottle. Golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is fruity and mildly dry, and the flavour is very dry with a malty and fruity body. Overall a very nice beer.

Half pint gravity fed from the cask at the Ealing Beer Festival, a clear golden colour with a filmy head. An aroma of a great bitter - hoppy, fruity and flowery. A strong bitter palate, some umderstated fruity flavours, with a gravelly malt. Quite smooth throughout, then tart and dry in the finish.

Cask, Kingdom of Fife BF 07. Cloudy dark straw, thin bubbly white head. Quite sherberty hop nose, hint of lager hop. Some sweet play on the nostrils. Mouth is very watery, hint of hop bitterness at end. Bitter dryness lasts to the finish. OK, just a shame about the mouth.

Aroma is peachy, yeasty, grassy hops. Taste has a orange peel bitterness to it, lemon pale malt, wll balanced and very drinkable.

Cask@The Pembury tavern, Hackney. Malty to start of, quite grainy and fairly dry. Some ever so subtle floral hop notes in the finish. Finish is watery, short. Again this is below average.

A Mes rate: Very hoppy and grassy aroma that is pretty damn good if you ask me. Aromatic lemon flavour with a slightly dry finish. Decent beer but will never set the world alight.

[Cask from The Three Judges] Pale gold, small head. Aroma of herbal hops, syrup from tinned peaches, toasty. Light and toasty, fruity finish.

Cask gravity at The George, Bethersden, Summer BF 2006. Pale copper colour with thin lasting white head. Caramel/hop aroma. Bit soapy. OK in mouth. Herby hop flavours come through on the end. Underlying caramel. Yes, not bad. Could do with being either maltier or hoppier, or indeed both.
