Every Jasperite knows B. Hill. The B Hill Pilsner is modeled after the great lagers initially developed in Czechoslovakia's Pilsen region, whose style of lager is famous as one of the most popular beers in the world. Brewed with German malts and hops, the gold-coloured B Pill Pil starts and ends with a clean hop flavour.

Growler, brought back from the brewery by Parksy and shared with the brewery crew. Pale crackery malt and light florals, appropriate bitterness. Not bad.

Nice aroma of citrus sweetness with some malt. Nice foam and vaguely foggy body. Smooth lemon and malt flavour with vague nut hints. Quite nice, drinkable by the gallon.

Pours a light hazy golden yellow with a frothy white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of pil malts, yeast and some floral hops. Taste is sweet pil malts, floral hops, some spicy nobel hops and pilsner yeast. Crisp finish that’s a bit too sweet but overall a nice drinking German pilsner.

On draft at the Jasper Brewing Company, Jasper. Sweet aroma, some grass, citrus. Taste had grain, pils. Watery finish. Thirst quencher, refreshing beer, but nothing special.

Slightly cloudy yellow body with a light white head. Slight aroma of grains and grass. Taste matches aroma. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Jasper Brewing, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lightly grassy hops and very subtle spicy hops. Flavour is very lightly grassy and hoppy, with a dry body. Refreshing and drinkable, yet nothing special. Decent pils.

Grainy dryish malt nose. Flavour of moderately crisp and grainy malt, light grassy hops. Body was light as was the mouthfeel. a pretty good pilsner.

Draft - Sweet perfumy grains. Gold with a rich white head. This is not like any pilsner I have ever had. So much perfumy grains, sweet with little bitterness and not as crisp or refreshing as I would like.

Quick review! Pale gold, limited cap. Muted aroma cereal and pennies. Taste is better, smooth easy drinking, crisp, clean. Corn, grass, metalic hops. Not one bad thing to say but very forgetable.

Poured a clear golden with a well-retained cap of creamy white head. Nose was of sweet pils and pale malts, and lemon...simple, soft, and pleasant. Very nice initial flavor.
