Solid dark amber - maybe more of a soft brown. Small white head, no carbonation and decent lacing. The aroma had some floral hops, some malts but overall totally unimpressed. Some fake lemon. I’ve smelt this so many times before at brewpubs in Alberta. Taste consisted of some roasted malts, a good chunk of hops, a slight fruit flavour and a touch of spice. Overall on the watery side. Light ot medium bodied, smooth and has a nice mild but sharp bitter aftertaste left on the front of my tongue. Very dry finish. Drank alone after mysteriously sending myself out to get grocieries at 11pm in Jasper...what a bastard! pintbypint (1006), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Light chocolate malt flavour, some noble hops, light roasty character. Finish is mildly bitter. Soft bodied. Nice hop note. This is a schwartzbier, not a dubbel as I incorrectly added it.
