COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is brewed with clover honey from the Okanagan Valley. A hint of coriander gives the golden ale a fresh and inviting flavor that blends perfecly with aromatic German hops. Served with a slice of lime.

This is new: not the hefe is served with a slice of lemon, instead this one comes with a slice of lime; removed immediately, but it has already left trails behind. Blond color. It has just a light sweetness if compared to the Sutter Hill, otherwise I would not tell which is which.

Draught at Jasper Brewing Co, Jasper, AB, Canada.
Hazy pale golden colour with tiny white head. Sweet honey, sugar, some citrus (probably because lime slice attached) in aroma. Cereal malty flavour with notes of bitter hops. Not much honey in flavour.

Cask@Jasper Brewery Brewpub, Jasper (served with lime). Pale golden beer with a lime and gently hopped and dry aroma. The flavour is weakly dry with a slight touch of honey. Overall a very plain watery ale.

Got my beer served to me with little head and no lacing but he beer was nice and clear and light gold. The aroma was slightly spicy ? with ripe apple and honey. Needs some work on the aroma side as it was too light as lame with only a slight honey and slight weak malt. The taste was similar to the aroma with a bit more hops (weak spruce). Light bodied with a weak but acceptable aftertaste.

Tap, brewpub. Served with a lime wedge, to my surprise. Light staw colour, some faint haze. Tiny white head. Fruity aroma, some honey and lime. Flavour has honey sweetness, citrusy. Ends dry, some wheat and light citrus are left behind. Medium body. Ask for it without the lime wedge if you order this.

Pale blonde pour - not quite a golden or amber, perhaps, but not bad looking. Another reasonably creamy white head, nice retention. Served with a lime. Removed for appearance, but may add a splash if it is the intended serving. A soft and sweet honey and clove. (imagine that, it’s a clover honey) Brewed with coriander, which I find to be quite light in the aroma. Lightly toasted malts. Maltiness with a kiss of honey, which lingers for a little while. Caramel notes, fresh clove flavours, the spiciness is a little more apparent in the taste - light, but tasteful. Sparkling carbonation, refreshing, Semi-crisp finish. An easy drinker, and a decent summer brew. I’d take this on a day when a hefe might be in order, without complaint. Not too bad at all.

Draft 6 oz’er at the brewpub; Served with a lime wedge in it. Very pale yellow with a viscuous sheen and a sticky head. The lime pretty uch dominates the aroma, but this drinks like a nice light cream ale, despite being incredibly light. (#2886, 5/15/2007)

On tap at Jasper Brewing Company. Poured a clear pale golden with a well-retained cap of creamy white head... some lacing and rising carbonation. Not much going on in the nose... honey, pear, and cloves for the most part... more spices appear with warmth. Nice honey and pale malts at the front of the flavor, but diacetyl and some veggies really drag it down from about the middle through the finish. Light-bodied. Light herbal bitterness was well-placed, but the diacetyl really hurt it.
