How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear copper body with almost no head
In long: A nose of leafy hops (dry tree leaves). The body is very thin and the beer is very low on malts. Toasted croutons, wood bark, tree leaves. English style hops. Rather crisp. Medium carbonation. This is easy to drink but it is very simple. Nothing memorable here, this is just Another Ale.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 3, 2009 A golden orange ale with a thin white head. A very herbaceous hoppy aroma, restrained. In mouth, an herbaceous hop and crisp malt, very British, but again, some signs of infection. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, Inbièrenationale IV, May 2007. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 31, 2008 Cloudy amber beer with a creamy white head. Aroma is nice and sweet. Caramelly and toffeeish with a light nutty character. Earthy UK-type hopping. Woody and earthy with a light orangey fruitiness on the back. Lingering spicy bitterness. Great balance and quite tasty. More of a bitter than anything else. TaktikMTL (2790), Montréal-Nord, Quebec, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 21, 2008 En fût. (Rating #1686) MartinT (5080), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 20, 2008 My Bottom Line:
Earthy, leafy hops proliferate within the caramel and toasted malts to build a highly quaffable and fresh brew.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam dwindles into the cloudy amber red.
-This does not adhere to any style guidelines that I know of. It’s just crispy and fresh throughout and nicely rendered.
-Carbonation is quite effervescent.
-A mineral touch seems to accompany this new hop variety.
