Jasper Murdocks Famous Sidekick

I really wish there were more brewers like this one in North America. Deep brown beer. Aroma shows light molasses and soft milk chocolate. The flavour is lovely, soft and earthy, some light chocolate and toast. Flavour is also quite nice with soft sweet milk chocolate, light herbal bitterness. Lightly astringent. Excellent balance and a quality example of a style that we never get to see over here.

Clear dark brown pour with a ring of offwhite lace. Decent aroma and flavor of roasted malt and chocolate with a bitter finish, it’s mild but pleasant.
