Feb 17, 2008 Deep amber brown beer with a thin tan head. Aroma is lightly spicy and bready. Some soft amber malts, a bit of toastiness. Spicy, but with a fairly strong phenolic aroma that isn’t all that nice. Belgian yeasty spiciness that is overwhelmed by bandaidy phenolics. Lean body. Meh... one of the poorer beers from this otherwise talented brewer.
