Jasper Smoky Blonde Ale

On tap at Jasper Brewing Company. This was significantly better than the Union Blonde Ale. Poured a hazy pale golden with a short cap of whitish head. Nose took a while to develop, but was nice... ginger, citrus, light smoke, and a bit of mango rest on top of sweet pale malt and vegetal notes. Lightly-smoked pale and other sweet malts form the flavor base with ginger, mango, and citrus surrounding. Light-bodied and somewhat grainy on the palate... herbal and light spicy bitterness hit the right places. Good stuff.
