Bottled as Jefferson Merry Christmas Beer. Hazy brown. Malty nose, some overtones of Belgian yeast. A nice Belgian style ale. Nothing seasonal about this, and it lacks soemthing extra to lift it.

Bottle of 50 cl. Hazy yellow orange beer with a large off-white head of good durability. Aroma of wheat and yeast as well as notes of Nilliker. The taste is slightly acidic with notes of citrus. Slightly dry finish

Ganske fin.

03-DEC-2011, bottle @home, from "Kvickly". Pours murky brown with a beige head that dies immediately leaving a slightly unpleasant looking brew. Nose is sweet cinnamon and brown sugar. Taste is malty and sweet with cinnamon, brown sugar but also lots of yeasty stuff with banana. Taste is nice. Best ever from Jefferson. Easy...

Bottle. As ’Jefferson Christmas Beer’. Pours a murky orange-brown with a big off-white head. Good lacing. Aroma is tart and heavy on the yeast. Sweet fruity note, with some cooked vegetable notes mixed in. As it warms, the yeast subsides and makes more room for the fruity note, making it better. Further warming brings out a slight rubber note. Flavour is sweet, tart and yeasty, with a plastic overtone. Malty notes in the background. Warming brings out a slight berry-tartness. Mildly bitter finish with a lot of yeast. Slightly dry. Palate feels a bit greasy. Overall to much yeast for my liking. 27.11.11.
