Our Hop Dang Diggity Southern IPA will give you a full nose of Georgia pine aroma while the malty backbone provides for a perfectly balanced sweetness. Hopped up like a one legged chicken, this is not your standard “economical” IPA.

It is entirely likely that you may choose to not drink this IPA, but only breathe in it’s wonderful aromas... snap out of it and take a sip. Not too dry, but having just the right amount of sweetness to balance the bitter, then finishing with a refreshing clean that begs for the next taste. This hoppy style pairs well with any of your favorite spicy foods. 16° SRM 8.1 L

12 oz bottle. It pours a orange color with a medium sized long lasting white head. It smells like pine with a little citrus. It has a nice balance between sweet and bitter. It has a strong grapefruit flavor along with a little citrus flavor and some pine. It has a strong hop bitterness without being overpowering. I really enjoyed this beer and look forward to drinking more from this brewery.

Can--dark gold color with a nice size, foamy, white head. Lots of charming aroma, mostly of pine. It’s made in Georgia, so it’s got to be pine. You can add a little floral to the aroma too. The taste starts off with malt and sweetness, but just for a brief moment. Then you finish with the hops and bitterness. Grapefruit seems to be the dominate flavor. Excellent stuff from a place I never heard about!

So... What makes something a southern IPA and not a regular IPA? Brewed in the south maybe. Anyway Subtle citra hop note. A little body odor Looks fine. Lighter orange. Pillowy white head. Taste is malty. Subtle hops. Earthy on the back. Clean. Palate is light. Watery. Call this a pale ale and I’m sold. Otherwise for an IPA... Nothing special.

Murky brown/orange body is a little off from what I like to see in an IPA, but the giant tan head looks great. Pine and fruit (apricot comes to mind) on the aroma along with a little bit of alcohol. Fairly classic American IPA hop profile on the flavor - lots of bitter pine along with some citrus. Mouthfeel is slick, dry, and slightly grainy. Good stuff.

"Well damn...this was a bit of a surprise. Dank hops, citrus weed and pine. Very well put together IPA that is a bit hoppier and more bitter than most but with enough sweet to balance. Good stuff."

16 ounce pint - Mellow Mushroom in Sandy Springs, Georgia.

Appearance: Coppery body with a tinge of orange to the hue. Modestly hazed. Slim, white head.

Smell: Slim, scant maltiness offers few aromatics, with the bulk of the nose being made up of subtly pithy, resiny hops.

Taste: Starts with a dry pale maltiness, a little crackery accent. Very little incorporated sweetness. Lightly floral, citrusy, steely hops with a restrained pine resin element. Moderate bitterness. There’s no late-breaking sweetness, leaving the beer to finish as dry as it began with its bitterness carrying over into the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: Falls on the lighter end of medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.

Overall: Found it a bit mediocre, a little bit drier than preferred, but by no means bad.

Really nice IPA. Copper brown, piney, sprucey hop aroma. Flavor is lightly sweet malts, then dry, piney, oak finish. Very clean, as well. Very tasty!
