Our Hop Dang Diggity Southern IPA will give you a full nose of Georgia pine aroma while the malty backbone provides for a perfectly balanced sweetness. Hopped up like a one legged chicken, this is not your standard “economical” IPA.

It is entirely likely that you may choose to not drink this IPA, but only breathe in it’s wonderful aromas... snap out of it and take a sip. Not too dry, but having just the right amount of sweetness to balance the bitter, then finishing with a refreshing clean that begs for the next taste. This hoppy style pairs well with any of your favorite spicy foods. 16° SRM 8.1 L

Another standard but decent Jekyll beer. Golden orange. Piney, citrus nose. Not too doughy, slightly bitter, good citrus profile, piney throughout. Clean mouthfeel.

Bottle or two from Grovetown Liquor, no bottle date. Pours a clear orangey copper with an off-orange head leaving some spotty lacing. Aroma has pine and citrus and caramel. Later a bit of fresh fruit comes too. Hoppy, but not hit-you-in-the-face hoppy. Taste is of tangy pine, some lemon, some grapefruit, and some sweet fruits, with a solid caramel backbone. A touch of earthiness. Medium bodied with only a touch of alcohol presence. Finishes sweetly tangy with a bit of bitterness, but more to the sweet side of bittersweet. Decent and fairly tasty, but nothing overwhelming here. 13.7

1/10/15. 12oz bottle from Warehouse. Lightly hazed orange pour with a nice khaki head and lots of lacing. Nice aroma, pine, citrus, lots of grapefruit, a hint of doughiness and caramel. Nice flavor, pine, citrus, doughy, not offensive. Not bad!

Pours copper with a billowing white head. The aroma is very earthy, with some dirt, grass and pine. There is a mild citrus component and the flavor is predominantly bitter. Rating #1,000

Good looking brew with an absolutely gorgeous aroma of citrus and pine. Experience in the mouth however somewhat ruined by a strong presence of soap, both in the flavor and on the palate.

12 oz bottle. It pours a orange color with a medium sized long lasting white head. It smells like pine with a little citrus. It has a nice balance between sweet and bitter. It has a strong grapefruit flavor along with a little citrus flavor and some pine. It has a strong hop bitterness without being overpowering. I really enjoyed this beer and look forward to drinking more from this brewery.

Can--dark gold color with a nice size, foamy, white head. Lots of charming aroma, mostly of pine. It’s made in Georgia, so it’s got to be pine. You can add a little floral to the aroma too. The taste starts off with malt and sweetness, but just for a brief moment. Then you finish with the hops and bitterness. Grapefruit seems to be the dominate flavor. Excellent stuff from a place I never heard about!

So... What makes something a southern IPA and not a regular IPA? Brewed in the south maybe. Anyway Subtle citra hop note. A little body odor Looks fine. Lighter orange. Pillowy white head. Taste is malty. Subtle hops. Earthy on the back. Clean. Palate is light. Watery. Call this a pale ale and I’m sold. Otherwise for an IPA... Nothing special.
