Our Hop Dang Diggity Southern IPA will give you a full nose of Georgia pine aroma while the malty backbone provides for a perfectly balanced sweetness. Hopped up like a one legged chicken, this is not your standard “economical” IPA.

It is entirely likely that you may choose to not drink this IPA, but only breathe in it’s wonderful aromas... snap out of it and take a sip. Not too dry, but having just the right amount of sweetness to balance the bitter, then finishing with a refreshing clean that begs for the next taste. This hoppy style pairs well with any of your favorite spicy foods. 16° SRM 8.1 L

This isn’t a bad IPA. Pretty good, actually. It’s just that after the nice C-hop aroma, the malt profile doesn’t quite match.

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2014 Orange and pine suggests Cascade hops. zebra stripe bubble gum suggests maybe Amarillo. Mild aroma overall, lightly floral but mostly just pine. Medium light body, syrupy and chewy, watery texture. Medium sweetness, strongly hoppy in the nose with quiet bitterness. A bit bland and ordinary but no off notes noticed. From draft.

From the 12 fl.l oz. bottle from a non-RB trader. It pours a cloudy bronze-orange-amber or somewhere in that hue range. But cloudy for certain. Cream colored head that stick around. The nose is earthy and piney but not overly floral and citrus like. Kind of a pleasant malt character that definitely ends with an earthy hop note and mild bitterness. Medium body. Seems well balanced in the end.

Pours light amber with a finger of white head. Aroma is sweet Georgia pine citrus with some noble hop notes as well. Very smooth to taste with no aggressive bitterness but still maintaining the hop dominance necessary for an IPA. Very crisp and refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. clear copper. Pretty solid. Nice tea and floral notes. Hints of citrus. Pretty smooth with medium body. Better as it warms. much better than red hare ipa in the battle of the OTP...if there was a battle of the OTP.

The pour had a classic IPA look, with a peach colored clear body, two finger thick foamy head with lots of staying power, and gentle streams of natural carbonation streamers. The beer had a strong hop aroma, as I did no even need to bring the glass to my nose to start to smell it. The hops were typical citric type, with grapefruit, mandarin orange, and cut hay being the predominant smells. The taste wasn’t quite as complex as I had thought it was going to be. It was plenty hoppy, but with not much malt backing it up. The result was a bitter and spicy, "California style" hop bomb. Lucky for them, I actually really like the one dimensional assault. I think the freshness of this hometown brew really shines through, as the hops are really green and herbalicious, which is word this beer made me invent. Quite a light mouthfeel, with tingly bubbling of bursting carbonation dancing on my tongue. This is the perfect first sample from a brewery less than two miles from my house. I think I am going to go on tour of their facility just to get this at the source.

12oz bottle. Served at around 40-45F.

Pours lightly hazy copper with a two-finger off-white head that leaves a little lacing and settles to a light cap.

Aroma is nice citrus, some mango, fruity hops, hint of pine, quite a lot of caramel malt, some bread. Good strength.

Flavor has more piney hops, some citrus, some fruit, hefty malt backbone of caramel and toasted bread that brings in a decent bit of sweetness...more than I like in an IPA, which drowns out the bitterness on the finish.

Mouthfeel is medium-plus bodied, sticky & oily, good carbonation.

Average IPA. Too malty for my tastes.

Frisk dyft av citrusfrukter. Dunkel gulbrun farge. Tynt dekkende skum. Frisk litt sursøt smak av friske citrus frukter.
