Lekko wytrawne. Gdzieś w tle nawet lekka goryczka. Typowy, przeciętny lager.

Standard pale lager from a 33 cl bottle claiming it contains 5% ABV and having been brewed at Trebjesa (property of SAB Miller) in Montenegro; either this beer should be updated, or I have a slightly different version, but since I cannot be sure of either and the label is the same, I’m going for this one. Medium thick, only very lightly lacing, fairly stable, off-white head over a cristal clear and pure golden blonde beer with no visible fizz. Unexpectedly strongish aroma of sourdough, damp kitchen towels, old and moist newspapers, green apple peel without its refreshing effect, iron, rotting garden weeds, stale sweat, soggy corn. Sourish grains and sweetish corn in the onset, strong carbo with minerally and souring effect (the latter reinforcing the graininess), light and supple, metallic yet oily mouthfeel, while the grainy sourishness and corny sweetishness continue with the first being prevalent over the latter; finish is neutral, with only a very faint and brief amount of simple grassy hops added, but low bitterness, so that the play of dull sourishness and dull sweetishness can go on, fading to nothing after a few moments, though I can still taste a light grassy bitterness of the hops all the way in the end. Light metallic and minerally effects linger too. Feels very industrial and the sweet-and-sour graininess bothers me from the beginning onwards; clearly a macro pale lager of low class, probably not the absolute worst one I ever had in this style, but certainly not among the better ones either. Poured most of it down the drain.

A good Eastern European lager. Nothing too special, but it is very smooth and drinkable.

500 ml bottle, best before 09/10/15. English label says "Lager Beer with Caramel coloring." Is that so? Yet it pours as straw pale as any Lite. Still, it looks alright for a light lager, with its sudsy head and all. Slight skunk and oxidation is bearable. Taste was going all right as a bowling alley beer at the start, then took a detour with a mouthful of sugar. Slight note of noble hop pepper saves this being a wreck. If I were near the brewery, I’d sure try this fresh. I guess even though the label says "Montenegro," looks like RB will count this as my first Serbian beer instead. The things I do to keep up with the former Soviet and Yugoslav republics.

500ml can into shaker. Very faint metallic nose. Crystal clear amber beer with thin solid white head. Medium carbonation. Harshly carbonated on tasting. Strong herby, earthy taste which dominates everything. Pretty unpleasant. Eventually a little bubblegum sweetness is noticeable but it doesn’t last, the taste of dirt soon returns.

It is a classical beer from the Ex-Yougoslavia. The colour is clear and yellow, weak foam and average carbonation, typical for the lager beer. We can feel a bit the hop. It is a beer for the summer, on the beach with friends.
