Draught at the brewpub. Pours opaque black with a frothy tan head. Delicate roast aroma, faint chocolate, coffee. Bitter roasty with hints of soap, a little alcoholic but refreshing nevertheless. Well carbonated, light body, roasty finish.

Dark brown. The aroma is a little coffeeish and a little roasty. Chocolate, toasty, with medium bitterness and a gentle dark malt complexity. Good stout - I could drink some of this.

Beershine (5195) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - AUG 8, 2011
Bottle. Black. The head is too light and disappointing. Aroma has lots of roasted chicory character. Very straightforward toasted chocolate malt. Soft and smooth, with a good body. Very drinkable with a nice roast flavor that is balanced by an excellent malt sweetness. Itís got a healthy malt character. Very good.

tomer (1529) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - JUL 14, 2009
Draught at the brewery, dark brown colour but not opaque, extremely strong carbonation which does not come down for quite a while after it was poured, creamy light beige head. Strange nose of detergent and ripe cheese, with rosted coffee and a whiff of tropical fruits coming in as the beer warms up. flavours of bitter chocolate and mushrooms. Quite dry with a lightish body and a short botter finish. Unbalanced stout but still quite interesting.
