3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught, Weintanne, Jena. Poured a slightly off white-grey head on top of a very dark brown body tinged with amber. Smells promising, very promising - soft, silky even raisins dipped in malt. Nice soft raisiny malty taste - distinctly and surprisingly nicely so. One dimensional but full enough and quite pleasant - a friend from Jena said it was his favorite there and it’s obvious why! Who would’ve thought I’d run into such a superbly executed light dunkler bock in Jena!

Malzig-würziger, etwas trocken und langweilig wirkender Antrunk. Etwas herb. Im Abgang stärker und minimal röstig. Hier auch erstmals würzig, malzig sowie etwas hopfig. Das geht deutlich besser!
