Bottled. Nice Amber color with a beige foamy and persisten. Aroma is sweet and malty, flavor is like aroma but balanced sweetness and bitterness, also notes of toffee and toasted malt. Mouthfeel is light bitter, nice one!

Bottle, 75cl corked. Pours an orange body, with a nice but diminishing, beige head. Nice lacings settles when drinking. The aroma has a nice balance between sweetish caramel and fruityness, and is far from intense. Some hoppy notes as well. The flavor is much the same, with a nice, crisp bitterness in the background, and it finishes with caramel and bitterness. There’s also a hint of cellar that follows you from the first deep sniff, until the last drop is swallowed. A bit sticky in the mouth maybe, with a nice fullness. This is one of those beers that are a bit hard to grade, maybe it deserves a bit higher grades compared to other beers, anyway, I like it. (071023)

Smells like weed. Beautiful clear bright copper. No head. Not bad. I can taste sweetness, leaves. Great clean refreshing mouthfeel.

Pours a clear amber with a nice sized crème head. Nose is nutty and woody. Flavor is smooth with a slight woody tone to it. Touch of sweetness there, but not overdone at all. It’s just a touch. Feel is good. The right level of bubble on the tongue and a smooth liquid experience. Highly drinkable and very much worth trying.

Poured a soft reddish amber. Able to coax a medium creamy sticky faint beige head. The aroma is sweet, vinous, grapes, dry, inferior quality to it (cornish). The flavor has a crisp dry character to it, alcohol warmth, a harsh bite, light fruity sweetness, tastes like dry macro. Not very good overall. I want to try La Bavaisienne.

The color was a crisp light amber. The head was creamy and off-white. The aroma was alcohol, citris, light aged, and sweet. The flavor dry with some fruit. It had a little bit of a musky quality. The palate was smooth. The finish was warm.

Appearance: Pours a clear, pale amber body with a thin, finely bubbled off-white head. Smell: Light aroma of toasted grains with vaguely fruity notes and a bit of cinnamon in the nose. Taste: Toasted grains with a light sweetness. Fruitiness comes across as a white wine flavor. Again, there’s that very light cinnamon spice undertone. The finish is a bit watery, which allows some of that alcohol to creep in. Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Mild carbonation. Somewhat watery. Drinkability: I could be blunt and caustic here, but hey, it’s Friday!
